Intrigued by the movement of overlanding for the Cherokee platform, we have developed a turnkey product with Cascadia 4X4 for a hood mounted solar panel charging solution.  Due to the fact we have hood mounted windshield washer nozzles, we designed a retrofit kit that relocates the nozzles to your wipers as –is still 100% functional as the OEM design. As an added bonus, the shape of the panel replicates the factory black hood vinyl.

The Cascadia 4x4 VSS System™ hard-mounts to the hood of your Jeep Cherokee and, during daylight hours, provides a constant flow of clean solar energy to your primary or secondary vehicle batteries. This gives you the ability to run 12V accessories like fridges, phone/laptop chargers, lights, power inverters etc. without the need to start your engine and without the fear of draining your battery and leaving you stranded. The VSS System™ is completely plug-and-play with the included MPPT solar charge controller and can be installed in as little as 1.5 hours. With a nominal 85 watt / 7 amp charge strength, this will keep your battery topped off on even the most overcast of days.
